In this video, I’m going to show you how you can 10x your content by using automation to convert text content into image carousels automatically. I’ll show you step by step how to use make.com to convert text into multiple image formats: square, vertical, and also color, which you can then post to platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and beyond. My name is Steven Pope, founder of the Content Engine, and over the past two years, I’ve helped hundreds of serious personal brands and content agencies automate and streamline their content systems overnight. Now, I’m into the make.com project.

Now that I’ve created a folder for this project and we’re going to create a Google Document where we can add in some content which we use to later convert into a carousel. So let’s begin by pretending like we’re creating a short text post for social media.

Text Post
This is a quick test post that could be posted to LinkedIn or Twitter.

In our make automation, the first thing we need to do is to load up that document in Google Docs. We need the document ID, and we can use that to convert the document into an image Carousel using make.com.

In the next step of the automation, we need to iterate through each line in the document so that we can create an image from each line. We will then pull those images together into a unified Carousel.

Jumping over to the platform called Placid app, we have already created a square Carousel and we will need to update the text using an API call.

We now proceed to look for the Placid app in make.com and create an image by selecting the proper connection and template. We can use the value from each iterator run to replace it with line of the document, ensuring that it creates an image for each line.

After creating the images, we then assemble them back into a PDF using the pdf.co platform. Once assembled, we finalize the automation by uploading the PDF to Google Drive.

Once uploaded, you can see how easy it is to convert text to image carousels. You can then duplicate this process for different variations and color schemes, tailoring your content creation for different platforms.

In conclusion, using automation tools like make.com can 10x your content production. You can repurpose your content and convert text into image carousels effortlessly, saving time and effort in the process.
